Boys and Girls can participate with AZ Youth Wrestling between 4-15 years old.

New to Wrestling.. What equipment do I need to have for my children?

Wrestling Shoes, Headgear and a wrestling Singlet.

Can my kids wrestle for any program of our choosing or is there a District?

They can train and wrestle through any school, team or club of your choosing and participate in AZYW Tournaments.

Do I need to have an active membership to participate in AZ Youth Wrestling?

Yes, with AZYW every wrestler, coach and volunteer must have an active AAU Membership.

When is the typical Folkstyle Wrestling season?

Youth Folkstyle Wrestling typically begins in October and ends by March.

Tips to prevent getting Ring Worm?

Maintain good hygiene and wash entire body with antibacterial soap. Wash practice gear and uniforms after every practice and tournament.

How much is each tournament registration fee?

AZYW Tournaments are only $10-$12 per wrestler.
